I first had a consultation with Dr Sameer. He explained the procedure in detail. I proceeded with the 6 month baloon. The procedure was done professionally. I was taken care of. Noor explained everything to me and was in touch with me througout. I am also indebted to the nutritionist Dr Farah who was in touch with me on a daily basis. I will be honest, post procedure, there is discomfort but there is no way around it. It all settles down by the end of the week (it did for me). I have seen immediate weightloss and I am assured I will continue to do so. Overall, I would recommend the Dr and procedure to everyone who want to lose weight with non surgical procedure.

Dr Samir best knows what’s most suitable procedure for his patients. He discusses their history with them , listens to their concerns and advises best solutions. Post operation, the discomfort was very minimal which shows his professionalism. Further he follows up with the patient and responds to all queries.Thanks extended also to his team , Mrs. Noor Rashid was great with doing all admin arrangements efficiently and made my journey smooth coming from outside uae to do the operation.Finally, thanks to dietitian Mrs Farah Chabib for following with me every day for the diet before and after operation.

I had a very successful experience with Dr.Samir where I have chosen the stomach band as my choice of weight loss option. He was very informative, and comforting. His secretary Ms.Hiba was also very helpful in smoothing the process pre-surgery. In addition, after surgery care was amazing. Doctor Lea, the dietrition, would always check on me, and make the post-surgery process easy. All Novomed staff were always happy to assist me and answer any questions or concerns. I’m still on my weight-loss journey, but so far I am very satisfied and more confident. I would definitely recommend Dr.Samir to all people looking to lose weight, and get better and healthier.

I first met with Dr. Samir in April 2022 for a consult. He provided different recommendations and expected results, was extremely knowledgable and had me at ease with my decision. I was able to do the procedure 1 week later and team were able to get all my pre surgery appointments scheduled quickly in between (thanks to his office manager Hala who was fantastic). I have had great after care from the Novomed team, no complications, and together with regular check ins I’ve lost over 37% of my starting weight, my BMI is in a very healthy part of the normal range, and have gone down close to 4 dress sizes. Dr. Lea Zibiane provided a lot of after care support with nutritional guidance and regular catch ups during my year of after care support. I have continued to lose weight even 15 months post procedure by trying not to fall back in to bad habits. Definitely recommend Dr. Samir and the team there and what they do to support quality of life improvements!

Novomed has been my go-to clinic for the longest time. This time around, I chose to do the Gastric Sleeve surgery with Dr. Samir Rahmani. 3 weeks ago I booked my session and from day 1 Hala Msiekeh assisted me from the visits, to the pre-surgery preparations, the surgery, and post-surgery follow ups. Dr. Lea Zibiane, Novomed’s nutritionist helped me prepare my diet before my operation and then contacted me everyday to see how I was doing with my liquid diets and my health post-op. Every step of the way was comforting and helpful, especially given the fact that this was my very first surgery! I appreciated all the nurses and admins during my stay at the hospital post-op too. 100% would recommend Novomed for everything.

I had my mini gastric bypass 6 months ago in July 2022.My journey has been relatively simple, and plain sailing . This journey has massively been helped by the support of the wonderfully, professional and talented team headed by Dr Samir Rahmani.Dr Samir has saved my life, and together with his glamorous team - Halla with her very efficient manner and Leah and her nutritional advice they make a great support system.I have lost over 30kg, I feel amazing , I love clothes shopping for the first time in over 25 years , I have a new wardrobe, new swimwear drawer and more important a new underwear drawer (gone are the Bridget Jones knickers !)Thank you Dr. Samir for your professionalism, you are an amazing Dr and tick many other boxes which as a scared patient is important because of your kindness and caring nature .My only regret is …. Until. my daughter decided to do her research for such an operation here in the UAE. She had her operation in September after deciding that Dr. Samir had the best feedback. The amazing results she showed convinced my husband and I that we would go ahead. From the very first time I met Dr. Samir, which was with my daughter, he was very professional and explained the various options to us in a simple yet comprehensive manner. I, therefore, knew what lay ahead. He was always patient and friendly and has a great sense of humor. Nothing was too much effort. Before, during, and after the procedure, Dr. Samir and his staff were always available when you wanted them. I felt safe at all times. The staff at the Novomed Dubai facility were absolutely great and caring. No request was too much effort for them. They understood what we were going through and made it an easy experience. Their sense of caring is commendable! When you needed them, they were and are available! The only regret I have is that I did not do this years ago!

Dr. Samir changed my life. I underwent a sleeve surgery 7 months ago, I had zero complications and everything from the consultation till this day has been more than satisfactory. He listens, cares and pays attention to all my concerns no matter how small. Aside from all this, he is such an ethical Dr. He would never suggest something that is not to your benefit, patient care and safety is his top priority and I say this from experience. I constantly recommend him to anyone suffering from obesity or a bariatric procedure gone wrong. Truly a pillar of the bariatric community.
