I would 100% recommend Dr Samir. I have felt so welcome at Novomed since the first meeting. The procedure was a huge success with no pain afterwards and the scars are so tiny, almost invisible. I first met with Dr. Samir 1 year ago for a consult. He provided different recommendations and expected results, was extremely knowledgable and had me at ease with my decision. I was able to do the procedure 1 week later and team were able to get all my pre surgery appointments scheduled quickly in between. I have had great after care from the Novomed team, no complications, and together with regular check ins I’ve lost 36% of my starting weight, my BMI is in the normal range, and have gone done at least 3 dress sizes. Definitely recommend Dr. Samir and the team there and what they do to support quality of life improvements!

Highly recommending. It was a life changing experience thanks to the best of the best Dr. Samir and his gorgeous staff. He would never advise you to follow a procedure you would not success in because he knows what he is doing. Dr.Samir is an incredible surgeon,Not only for the successful operation he has done for me but also for his great way of treating patients with compassion which eases the whole process for you.Not to forget that his lovely assistant Ms.halaWho was with me every step of the way and she granted me a smooth admission by coordinating with the hospital for the appointment and pre operation as well as for the follow ups.Honestly I am very impressed with the overall experience and I highly recommend Dr.samir.

Novomed has been my go-to clinic for the longest time. This time around, I chose to do the Gastric Sleeve surgery with Dr. Samir Rahmani. 3 weeks ago I booked my session and from day 1 Hala Msiekeh assisted me from the visits, to the pre-surgery preparations, the surgery, and post-surgery follow ups. Dr. Lea Zibiane, Novomed’s nutritionist helped me prepare my diet before my operation and then contacted me everyday to see how I was doing with my liquid diets and my health post-op. Every step of the way was comforting and helpful, especially given the fact that this was my very first surgery! I appreciated all the nurses and admins during my stay at the hospital post-op too. 100% would recommend Novomed for everything.

Dr. Samir is an absolute professional. I spoke with several doctors before deciding to go with Dr. Samir. He was encouraging, provided a lot of information, and made me feel more in control of my health. His coordinator, Hala, arranged everything for my gastric sleeve surgery and was so helpful. She made sure I had access to all of the information and appointments I needed. In the time leading up to and after the surgery Hala and Dr. Samir were generous with their time and always available for consultation. My surgery went well and Dr. Samir was there once I was awake to check on me and make sure I was comfortable. I’m almost 3 months post op and the follow up care has been great. My nutritionist, Saja, has been amazing as well. In the first month post op, she was in contact with me nearly daily, making sure I’m okay, giving me guidance and supporting me as I make lifestyle changes. The whole team at Novamed has been amazing. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Samir and am so happy with the results and journey so far. I feel I have the full team supporting me still and helping me make the best choices I can for me and my health.

I had a surgery with Dr. Samir a month ago, him and the staff were amazing. The surgery went very well and quick (it took about an hour), the doctor kept checking on me and was always available for any questions. I had my mini gastric bypass 6 months ago in July 2022.My journey has been relatively simple, and plain sailing . This journey has massively been helped by the support of the wonderfully, professional and talented team headed by Dr Samir Rahmani.Dr Samir has saved my life, and together with his glamorous team - Halla with her very efficient manner and Leah and her nutritional advice they make a great support system.I have lost over 30kg, I feel amazing , I love clothes shopping for the first time in over 25 years , I have a new wardrobe, new swimwear drawer and more important a new underwear drawer (gone are the Bridget Jones knickers !)Thank you Dr. Samir for your professionalism, you are an amazing Dr and tick many other boxes which as a scared patient is important because of your kindness and caring nature .My only regret is …. I didn’t do it sooner !

As an adult, I have always struggled with my weight. Doing a gastric bypass was something I spoke about, but never seriously contemplated. Until. my daughter decided to do her research for such an operation here in the UAE. She had her operation in September after deciding that Dr. Samir had the best feedback. The amazing results she showed convinced my husband and I that we would go ahead. From the very first time I met Dr. Samir, which was with my daughter, he was very professional and explained the various options to us in a simple yet comprehensive manner. I, therefore, knew what lay ahead. He was always patient and friendly and has a great sense of humor. Nothing was too much effort. Before, during, and after the procedure, Dr. Samir and his staff were always available when you wanted them. I felt safe at all times. The staff at the Novomed Dubai facility were absolutely great and caring. No request was too much effort for them. They understood what we were going through and made it an easy experience. Their sense of caring is commendable! When you needed them, they were and are available! The only regret I have is that I did not do this years ago!

The best doctor ever ! Dr. Samir is amazing he is extremely comforting and the one to go to. He is extremely supportive aswell! Amazing doctor 🤍 his whole team is very attentive and special there’s a exemplary team working with him from his assistant hala to the amazing dietitian Lea they truly work with you to achieve your goals and they put their love and care Into your process and they even make it theirs. Dr. Samir changed my life. I underwent a sleeve surgery 7 months ago, I had zero complications and everything from the consultation till this day has been more than satisfactory. He listens, cares and pays attention to all my concerns no matter how small. Aside from all this, he is such an ethical Dr. He would never suggest something that is not to your benefit, patient care and safety is his top priority and I say this from experience. I constantly recommend him to anyone suffering from obesity or a bariatric procedure gone wrong. Truly a pillar of the bariatric community.
